8th CPC Allowances

As part of streamlining the allowances across various department, the 7th CP looked at 196 allowance and then abolished or modified 89 Allowance and retained/modified 107 allowance.

Lets look at the allowance which has been removed, modified or abolished and also the ones which has been retained and modified. This is expected to be continued in 8th Pay commission, wherein the commitment would further optimize the allowance also in lieu of few organization which has been privatized or made as cooperation’s like HVF (Heavy Vehicle Factories)
